Space is no longer about heroism. It is about responsibility
A project that changes the way we look at things is about to launch in Moscow. We are used to thinking of space as a boundless void to be conquered, and of ecology as collecting waste paper. But what if we looked at it differently?
“Space Ecology 2026” is a flagship cultural and educational project that turns an artistic statement into an interdisciplinary platform.
What is the idea? We take three views of reality: 🌍 The view from Earth – where technology becomes a new kind of nature and the electronic trace of civilisation turns into artefacts. 🛰 The view from space – where there are no small things, where a mistake in orbit becomes a threat and a closed cycle is the only way to survive (thanks to cosmonaut practice for that!). ⚙️ The view from Industry – where recycling is not about waste but about high technology and “New Matter”.
Space is a mirror of Earth. If we do not learn to manage resources here, the same chaos will fly into orbit with us.
The project has already been recognised at the institutional level: its previous version in Kaluga entered the collection of the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics.
Now we are scaling up in the city. We are looking for a dialogue about the future not in museum halls but in the urban environment. We start at the Pechatniki Gallery, and there is more to come.
🗓 When: date to be confirmed
Hit the fire 🔥 if you are ready to see space not as a distant star but as an extension of our home.
