“Cosmic speed”: how the exhibition was made in a few weeks

March 3, 2026

While visitors get ready for the opening, we talked to the people who made “Space Ecology” at rocket speed. Meet: 🛰 Natalia Burtseva, space journalist, Sputnik Museum 👨‍🎨 Sergey Kozhukhovsky, artist and head of the “Space Ecology” project

🎙 Elina Papas: Natalia, you mentioned some incredible speed in putting the project together. Tell us?

👤 Natalia Burtseva: Well, I really would like to point out our cosmic speed! First of all, we became friends at cosmic speed – we found each other, came together in thoughts and ideas... And you all just intertwined! You know, it is like when paths cross in orbit, right? And when we found ourselves drawn in, pulled together by this attraction of ours – that is how it came together. And we started doing everything very fast.

And when we decided, we said: “A week! We have a week!” – and it really took off. We have space everywhere: space in our speed, space in our thoughts, space in our intentions, in our whole life. And here is the result.

And tomorrow, and on the 15th, we are expecting guests, dear friends, to show all of this, to present incredible cosmic creativity – Sergey's, and mine, and Elizaveta Kozyr's, and Tatiana Kokoreva's.

👤 Sergey Kozhukhovsky: I will only add that when an idea finds the right place and the right people, time really does compress. Orbit brought us together – and here we are, a day before the opening, everything is ready. Thank you to the team!

🎙 Sergey Kozhukhovsky: We are being filmed by Elina Papas, and Elena Papas's work will be here too.

🚀 The result of this cosmic speed of creation can be seen from 15 March at the Sputnik Museum.
