Behind the scenes of “Space Ecology”: installing the exhibition at the Sputnik Museum
While visitors wait for the opening, work is already in full swing in the halls of the Sputnik Museum. The exhibition is taking shape before our eyes.
The boxes with Sergey Kozhukhovsky's art objects are unpacked with special care – the fragile constructions of microchips and radio parts need a jeweller's touch. Every part has to find its place and come alive in the space.
The walls are ready to receive Elizaveta Kozyr's paintings and Tatiana Kokoreva's meteorite jewellery.
The lighting is set millimetre by millimetre. It is the light that will create that effect of immersion: from “Earth's Mistake” to “New Matter”.
The atmosphere in the halls is special right now. It is a moment of birth, when the chaos of installation gradually turns into a coherent story. The very story we will tell our visitors.
🚀 Very soon, on 15 March, the museum doors will open to everyone.
